Press-in racking, also known as push-back racking, is a racking system for high-density storage. It consists of key components such as columns, beams, rails and trolleys. The rail is fixed on the shelf beam at a certain angle (usually about 3°) and the trolley runs along the rail. When storing the goods, the pallets are placed on the trolley and pushed into the shelves in order, forming a first-in-last-out storage method. This kind of racking system is especially suitable for the storage of few varieties and large quantities of goods, and can effectively improve the space utilization rate of the warehouse.
